Found this gem on a Safari search for accommodation in Bonners Ferry and we could not have been happier! It's a historic 2-story School house with large rooms (former class rooms) each wonderfully decorated, even the principals office is now a bedroom! The hosts are a family affair and were so friendly and outgoing and truly made us feel comfortably at home. Breakfast was excellent and served in a former large class room with lots of windows. We only stayed one night on our way home to Calgary and wished we could have stayed longer! Beautiful place to stay, can't say enough great things about it!

We had a great stay. We were bicycling the Selkirk Loop & the owners let us stash our bicycles downstairs. Hosts were super friendly & gave us recommendations for dinner. We cooled down in the pool & enjoyed the beautiful gardens. It is a quick walk downtown via the pedestrian path on the bridge. We were on the top floor but stayed cool with the AC even in summer. Well appointed & an excellent choice for a stay in Bonner's Ferry.

Our cycling group of fourteen stayed at the Northside School B&B in early July 2019. Staff were most accommodating and very accessible. Easy access to the B&B from our cycling route (Selkirk Loop), great rooms, swimming pool and the hot tub were a real treat. And the breakfast was perfect!

Was referred this location by a friend whom stayed there a few years ago with the old owners. Since that time the new owners have taken over and continued with great service. As we arrived in the parking lot Corina met us out in the parking lot to greet us and have a great introductory conversation. Corina made us feel extremely welcome to say the least and that did not change the following morning when Frank made sure to thank us for staying and to let us know they were always there if we ever needed anything. Bedrooms were nice and breakfast was huge with great options. We will definitely be staying there again.

Anyone that grew up in rural America will love staying at this 1912 era schoolhouse repurposed into an adorable B&B. The grounds and building are well maintained and there are so many nostalgic touches. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, the game room/reading nook, our room was quiet and the breakfast outstanding. We will be back.

We had 2 wonderful nights at the Northside School BnB - Highly recommend it. Beds were comfortable, Rooms were clean, grounds were nice, the owners were very helpful. The breakfast had a good variety and I thought the price was fair.

This is the most beautiful, welcoming, and lovely place I've ever stayed. I would say bedding is the best. It doesn't feel anything like chemicals that you can feel every franchise Inns, hotels and more. They provided cashmere blankets you know it is just like better than I have at home. They provided the most hearty food for travelers. Oh my god! So great!! Cinnamon roll they served was not like we have had at the store or bakery. It's so good. I'm telling you this is the best place before you head to Canadian Border. It will give you charms.
